North Flight regularly participates in community
education classes such as CPR, traffic safety, and emergency readiness
programs. Emphasis is on community programs, first aid, health and safety education,
and EMS career awareness.
North Flight employees participate in a wide variety of education
and training programs, for both emergency medical crews and the
general public, in partnership with Munson Regional EMS Education.
Continuing education as well as initial training in ACLS, ITLS,
FTC, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation is provided to all levels
of EMS professionals through Munson Regional EMS Education. Munson
Regional EMS Education provides EMS initial education programs
throughout northern Michigan and is accredited by the Michigan
Department of Consumer and Industrial Services. Continuing education
is also provided both locally and via the REMEC Telehealth Network.
