The 5th Annual Celebrate the Vision dinner benefiting the Munson Hospice House held on Oct. 18 was a tremendous success. A capacity crowd enjoyed an evening of great food, friends, and a silent art auction at Black Star Farms near Suttons Bay. The event raised more than $23,000 for the Hospice House. Thank you to all of the artists who contributed work and to the continued sponsorship of Williams Chevrolet Honda Kia.
Remembrance Run
Timber Ridge was the new location for the 6th annual Remembrance Run held in October to benefit the Women’s Cancer Fund. More than 250 participants raised $5,000 in proceeds for the fund. Since 1999, the Remembrance Run has provided $33,000 to the Women’s Cancer Fund.
POMH Ball: ‘A Tuscan Holiday’
The 12th annual Christmas Charity Ball hosted by the Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital (POMH) Auxiliary treated attendees to “A Tuscan Holiday” at Crystal Mountain. About 250 people attended the Dec. 3 event, and raised about $25,000 through silent and live auctions. Proceeds will be used to support POMH renovations to improve privacy and services to patients, and support the POMH Emergency Room in efforts to coordinate care with Munson emergency services.
