Requirements

• Associates Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree
  
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Michigan
  
• Experience in some clinical areas required
  
• Ability to use computer with windows format

Scholarships

• $2,500 tuition reimbursement per calendar year is available. Must be employed by Munson Medical Center and working at least 16 hours per week. Guidelines are defined in Munson Medical Center's Tuition Reimbursement policy.

  Many nurses begin working as a nurse assistant and go to school to get their Associate Degree in nursing at NMC while employed at MMC.

Specific Duties

• Develops treatment and care plans
  
• Evaluates patient response to treatment
  
• Administers medication as directed
  
• Provides professional nursing care to patient
  
• Provides education and accurate instructions for patients and families

Salary Expectations

• Base $20.75 - $30.00 per hour
  
• $.70 per hour shift differential afternoon shift (3 - 11 pm)
  
• $2.00 per hour shift differential midnight shift (11 pm - 7 am)
  
• Clinical advancement: +$1, +$2, +$3
  
• Midnight incentive paid out two times per year
