The Munson Healthcare Pain Management Program, the Spine and Nerve Pain Treatment Center, offers a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to the management
of acute, chronic, and cancer pain. We also offer treatment for urgent pain conditions such as shingles and Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD). Our professional staff includes
physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, behavioral psychologists, and experienced
nursing staff. We work closely with physical therapists and pharmacists. Our goal is to establish
a multidisciplinary partnership with the patient and referring health care provider for the purposes of reducing pain while helping to improve a patient's quality of life.
Services offered include:
Multidisciplinary outpatient consultation, development of a treatment plan, and short-term medical management to assess progress and stabilize on medications, if indicated, for conditions such as back and neck pain, chest wall pain, ischemic and phantom limb pain, and fibromyalgia.
Inpatient evaluation and consultation
Behavioral medicine evaluation and treatment
Therapeutic physical rehabilitation
Cancer pain management
Outpatient pain procedures: diagnostic
and therapeutic nerve blocks
TENS unit and Interferential Stimulators
Biofeedback
Implanted electronic pain relief systems (medication pumps and neurostimulators)
